spaces of leaving and return

a study of thresholds, where travel exists in a sequence of fragments. movements appear as pauses, transitions, tender connection. time lingers, releases, and settles back into the everyday. here, leaving and return turn into a gesture. the body carries water long after stepping onto dry land. fabric holds wind. hands remember what they've touched. the archipelago exists as permission to be present in transition, to let the familiar become foreign and return transformed.
